Why We Lit This Flame 🔥?

It was a quiet evening when I came across these lines by Molana Rumi:

Never say,“In a world full of war, of what use is my peace?”
You are not one! You are a thousand! Light your own lamp!
Ghazal No. 1197
تو مگو همه به جنگند و زِ صلح من چه آید
تو یکی نِه‌ای هزاری تو چراغِ خود برافروز

And not long after, I heard the voice of Hafez echo a kindred truth:

چو غنچه گر چه فروبستگی‌ست کارِ جهان
تو همچو بادِ بهاری گره‌گشا می‌باش
Though like the closed-up rosebud the world may seem tied in knots,
Be like the breeze of spring — be the one who unties them.
Ghazal No. 274

These verses stirred something in me. I felt a quiet resolve take root: that I, like many, carry wisdom born from struggle, kindness shaped by pain, and clarity earned through confusion. And I realized — so do you. So do we all. What if we could gather these sparks from people around the world? What if each of us, in our own voice and language, could share what life has taught us?

This is how Wizla was born: a space to pass on the quiet truths we’ve earned — not from books, but from living. A place where one person’s words may light a path for another. Where peace, insight, and courage can ripple outward. You don’t have to be a sage. You only need to be willing to share.

So here we are. Lighting lamps. Untying knots. Leaving traces of wisdom for those who walk beside us, and for those who will come after.

Why We Should Share Ours?

Every life is a universe. Behind each smile, a storm weathered. Behind each silence, a lesson carried. Yet so often, we keep these truths locked inside — believing they are too small, too personal, too unremarkable to matter. But what if they do?

What if the insight you gained through pain becomes someone else’s comfort in their darkest hour? What if your lesson — shared in a few humble words — helps a stranger feel less alone? We don’t have to be philosophers or poets to leave behind something meaningful. We simply need to show up honestly.

When we share what life has taught us, we aren’t boasting — we’re building bridges. We are saying, “I’ve been there too,” or “Here’s what helped me,” or simply, “I see you.” In a world overwhelmed by noise and perfection, truth — even in its raw, imperfect form — is a gift.

This platform was created so that we don’t let our wisdom die in silence. Your story, your lesson, your truth — they are part of a bigger light. And when many people light their lamps, the night becomes a little more bearable.

So, why should we share ours?
Because someone out there is waiting for a whisper of hope that only you can give.
